Summary of Position:
The Bartender represents Inn at Laurel Point and Aura Waterfront Restaurant + Patio in all guest interactions, delivering a refined coastal dining and beverage experience in a waterfront city setting. Guided by sincere, attentive, and professional service, the Bartender creates memorable guest experiences while showcasing a passion for food, wine, spirits, and mixology.

Through knowledge, skill, and attentiveness, the Bartender ensures that Aura’s food and beverage standards are consistently upheld.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional beverage service to guests and colleagues, preparing all beverage orders accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with Aura’s standards
- Recommend, sell, and up-sell beverage items in a professional, knowledgeable, and guest-focused manner
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar; monitor inventory and communicate any 86 items to the service team and Manager on Duty
- Perform opening, closing, and routine cleaning duties, ensuring all equipment is functional and service-ready
- Collaborate with servers and other colleagues to ensure seamless dining and beverage service; request assistance when needed
- Assist on the restaurant floor as needed, supporting servers with table service, bussing, or guest requests to maintain a smooth service flow
- Operate POS systems and payment machines efficiently to ensure accurate order entry and billing
- Maintain detailed knowledge of Aura Waterfront Restaurant + Patio menus, daily features, ingredients, and preparation techniques, as well as wine, spirits, and cocktail offerings
- Communicate effectively and courteously with guests, supervisors, and colleagues, maintaining professionalism and composure at all times
- Provide knowledgeable information on Inn facilities and local attractions to assist guests, as required
- Comply with all Inn at Laurel Point and Aura policies, procedures, and health and safety standards
