Responsibilities
The Sales Manager will actively prospect for new clients, and further develop untapped potential within existing accounts. Reporting to the Director Marketing and Sales, the successful candidate will work collaboratively within our sales team, and will have a responsibility for achieving clear revenue and activity goals set forth by the hotel.
Responsibilities include travel throughout North America to designated trade shows, client meetings, promotions, sales trips and familiarization tours. Travel is estimated at 20% and some weekend and evening work will be required.
The Sales Manager will also be responsible for negotiating contract terms and service details with new and existing clients in an affable yet persuasive manner - enabling a consistent win-win outcome. A dedication to following up on all client requests is requisite - with a genuine commitment to after sales service and the ability to develop strong partnerships.
