Inn at Laurel Point, B.C.'s first (and currently only) carbon-neutral hotel, has just launched a
sustainable package that makes every day an Earth Day.
Available year-round at the Victoria, B.C. waterfront hotel, the Eco Package includes overnight
accommodation; luxury hemp linens on the bed; a complimentary bottle of local wine, organic
chocolates and a potted plant (as opposed to cut flowers); and parking. The package price starts at
$179 (based on double occupancy, subject to availability).

Courage Rate lifts a cloud of worry

Tomas Dosil, left, greets Jack Grinyer and dog Daisy at the front desk of the Inn at Laurel Point. Grinyer's wife received treatment from the B.C. Cancer Agency. They stayed at the hotel using the special courage rate, before she died in August. Grinyer now stays at the hotel while visiting friends in Victoria.
