Inn at Laurel Point and BC Cancer Agency Form Partnership

It is with great pride that we announce a partnership between Inn at Laurel Point and BC Cancer Agency, in December of last year (2008). In developing this plan the Inn at Laurel Point hopes to in some small way ease the burden of those people undergoing treatment, while at the same time, support such a world-class research and treatment facility. It is especially poignant as BC Cancer was a special interest of our late owner, Mrs. Artie Arsens. What a great way for us to honour the legacy of such a great community minded lady.

Among the many elements of this partnership the Inn offers BC Cancer patients a special discounted rate that we have aptly named the Courage Rate. This year round rate is extended to patients undergoing care at the Victoria BC Cancer Agency. Because we recognize that people have different needs in terms of rate we made the year round Courage rate available at Paul's Motor Inn as well.

In addition to these discounted special rates the Inn has also made a small number of rooms available year round on a complimentary basis to be used by patients and their families wherever BC Cancer Agency administrators see fit. It is our hope to extend a hand to those people who might benefit from no cost accommodation while undergoing treatment.
