Where do I even start??
On behalf of Air Canada Vacations and the Caribbean Goes North Team, I would like to thank you and the fantastic team at the Inn at Laurel Point for making our first “Caribbean Goes North” in Victoria truly memorable.
At the risk of missing someone, I would like to highlight a few team members that made the experience extra special for us.
Starting with Jason, of course, always so pleasant and helpful...what a wonderful welcome greeting!
Graham and Harj...who always go above and beyond and make sure everyone feels at home. They are genuinely focused on guests' satisfaction.
Demetris…who personally made sure every detail was attended to...how can we thank him?
Erin...a real professional who just had it all under control...and then some...
Chef Horen.......................well, that's another story...he has given "memorable", a whole new meaning. The dinner was simply amazing and the dessert...no words can really do it justice. PERIOD.
Scott, who was there to make sure we all felt special and assured us that the evening was going to be perfect in every way (just like his smile...truth be told).
And then there is you...Miss Kyla-Rae, who we all know embraced this as YOUR event. You welcomed us (your friends, fans and colleagues) to your new home. You made sure our stay was wonderful and spearheaded this whole movement.. Although you were somewhat motivated by your role as Sales Manager, you were also there as Kyla-Rae, the friend and colleague who wanted everything to be perfect - you were proudly showcasing your product and also taking care of us - "your people".
Thank you ALL once again, for a fabulous event, for all the special touches, the additional decor, the incredible food and the impeccable service.

Dear Laurel Point team,
I'd like to acknowledge you all for your part in a really great meeting. This was my first attempt at coordinating a meeting of this size and complexity, and you all made it really easy.
To Krista: Thank you for meeting with me those initial times and making very clear which parts the hotel would handle and which parts I would handle, and for being so patient in sending back version after version of the meeting agreement document. Also, for going out of your way to find information for me on my numerous questions.
To Jennifer: Thank you for your keeping me up-to-date and responsible for my room block, always letting me know where we were at in the reservation count and the many faxes and emails of who had reserved.
To Louise: Thank you for taking over from Lesley for the meeting and making sure that everything was going smoothly, and for your encouraging and positive way of being.
I would definitely choose to have another meeting at the Laurel Point, and recommend it to others. My personal gratitude to you all and the catering staff including Demetris and Erin, I can't imagine how it would have gone if not for your efforts!

Now that I look back at our recent visit to Laurel Point, I must thank you all very sincerely for the wonderful experience Belimo Americas had at your hotel.
I cannot think of one thing to criticize. Your excellent staff, your beautiful setting and facility and your professionalism was among the best I have experienced in the 14 years I have been arranging our most important meetings. Everything each day was handled so well -- from the apples we were greeted with when lined up for check in--to your storing our luggage while we went to Butchart Gardens, I never had to worry if something would be right and so could concentrate on the details of our events. Meeting rooms were always ready with the AV we needed and all else, your food displays were beautiful and so tastefully presented and the cleanliness of the hotel and friendliness of all staff set you a step above most 4 and 5 star resorts I have been to with groups.
The closeness of your meeting space to the dining areas, front desk and your sales office make your facility perfect for meetings of up to 150 people and the fact that the Inn at Laurel Point is set apart yet very close to exciting downtown Victoria with the many opportunities for activities within walking distance makes your Inn ideal for meeting groups.

To whom it may concern:
I have attended two different meeting at the inn over the last few weeks.
I have dairy and gluten allergies and have to be very cautious about what I eat. Often, this means that I bring my own meals and snacks rather than take chances with the food available at meetings and conferences.
However, in the case of your hotel, I have found the food and service to be excellent. Your staff have been incredibly accommodating - going out of their way to ensure that I have my special meals and that I know the ingredients in other food items. And, the food is delicious. I particularly appreciate the variety of items that have been available.
This may seem like a small point, but it is a significant one for me. Thank you for the care and attention that has been taken to ensure that I am safely fed.
