We are delighted to welcome our July artist in residence, Sharon A. Stone. Sharon’s paintings are colourful impressions of nature as reflected in land and waterscapes. She powerfully pulls her viewers in with luminous lavenders, blues, pinks and yellows. On display in our marble lobby.

Butchart Gardens Fireworks

Victoria Celebrates Canada Day
July 1st
Inner Harbour
A dawn to dusk program, food village, performances by well-known Canadian artists, a living flag as well as lots of family-friendly activities in celebration of Canada’s birthday. The day culminates with a dynamic, annual fireworks display at 10:20pm.

Bach’s Goldberg Variations: Benjamin Alard
July 27th 7:30pm – 9:30pm
Christ Church Cathedral
Since 2007 has been organist at the Church of Saint-Louis-en-l’Ile in Paris. Last August, Harmonia Mundi announced that Benjamin will join their artist roster and will record the complete works for organ and harpsichord of J.S. Bach over the next several years.
