Are the guestrooms close to the work being done?
We will do our best to ensure that our guests stay in rooms located away from the front of the hotel, where the renewal work is being done.

Will it be disruptive and noisy?
Some of the work will be noisy, however, it will be limited to business hours.

How far away are the meeting rooms from the work being done?
Our Terrace Ballroom and Merinos Rooms are located on the ground floor, at the back of our property, on the opposite side of the building from where the renewal project is taking place. Our Rogers’ suite is located on the 6th floor of the hotel, above the project.

What is the work schedule?
Construction will start on Monday October 15th and take place weekdays during business hours, and will adhere to city bylaws. On occasion, work may occur on weekends.

Beginning October 1, 2018 Transport Canada will be doing work in the park near the hotel. Click here for updates

Where can I park?
Our secure underground parking will be available for vehicles under 6’2″ and as always, valet service will be offered at no additional charge.

The overnight parking fee is $17 plus tax for each night parked. There is also limited over-height parking, at the same nightly fee, available on a first come, first serve basis. Alternative over-height parking is available nearby offsite and our colleagues can assist with providing directions.

Electric Vehicle & Tesla Charging Station.

Our Tesla & EV guests can charge their cars at our “Juice Box” charging station. Equipped with one EV-40 32 amp charger and one Tesla 40 amp charger, it is conveniently located in our driveway. Due to the work being done on our driveway, the Juice Box may not be always be available, however, there are several nearby public charging stations that our guests may use.

Hourly parking is available in our parkade at a rate of $2.00 per hour.

Is your pool and fitness room open?
Yes, our indoor pool and fitness studio will be available to our guests and can be accessed from the 2nd floor and down a flight of stairs.

Are pets still welcome?
We look forward to welcoming your whole family! Our usual pet amenities: a dog bed, bowls and very special welcome cookies will still be available. We just ask that your dog wears a leash at all times in the hotel, and if your pooch needs to be left unattended in your room, they stay in their mobile home/crate.
Cost for our pet-friendly hotel rooms…
To cover the creature comforts and cleaning after you leave, we charge a “Pampered Pet” fee of $30 per night to a maximum of $90 per every 7 nights.

What food and beverage options are available during my stay?
Although our restaurant AURA waterfront restaurant + patio will be closed during our renewal, we will offer a seasonal menu at breakfast and dinner in our dining room and through Inn-Room Dining.
Please note that from December 16 to February 18, 2019, food and beverage service will not be available, however, our team can certainly help you make reservations and here is our dining guide.

Is your in-room spa service still available?
Yes our Inn-room spa treatments will still be available 7 days a week (based on therapist availability), including holidays, between 8AM and 7PM with the last appointment to be started by 6pm. Simply call the our Front Desk team between the hours of 8AM and 6PM to book your appointment.
Please note that 24-hour cancellation notice is required.

Will bicycle rentals be available?
Yes, we have bikes available for rent from 7:00am till 8:00pm and our Front Desk team can help you saddle up & set out!

Who do I speak to if I have any concerns about my stay once I’m checked in?

Which wing will be most affected?
Noise will fluctuate as the project progresses. We will do our best to ensure that our guests stay in rooms located away from the front of the hotel, where the renewal work is being done.

Can I still enjoy the Japanese Garden?
No, we are taking this opportunity to refresh & renew our garden.
