Victoria Canada Day Highlights
- July 1st from 12:00 pm – 10:30 pm
- The day will begin with an Indigenous traditional canoe protocol and Welcome Ceremony, and a performance by the Lekwungen Dancers
- Live Multicultural Performances on the Main Stage from 12:00 pm – 10:20 pm (see main stage schedule here)
- Accessible area for viewing
- Multicultural Street Market with Artisan Vendors
- Flavours of the World Food Court with the best of the Victoria Food Truck scene
- Family festivities will run from 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm in the Kid’s Zone at Ship Point
- festivities will include a bouncy castle, bouncy obstacle course, face painting and glitter tattoos
- Tickles and Yowza the clowns will perform from 1:30 pm – 2:00 pm and will then stay until 4:00 pm to make balloon animals and entertain the crowd
- The Victoria Bug Zoo, Pacific Football Club, the Bateman Foundation and Alter Arts Society, will all offer kid-friendly activities
- There will be a 360 degree video booth from 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm
- Fireworks finale at 10:20 pm over Victoria’s Inner Harbour, set off from the Songhees Beach across the Harbour from Ship Point. Accompanied by music featuring Indigenous recording artists mixed by The Zone at 91.3.
