Is your Dad a human incarnation of the energizer bunny? Tucker him out on a bike ride around Victoria. Reserve your bikes online, pick up your complimentary helmets and bike locks at our front desk, then hit the road! Who knows, maybe he’ll even let you break for a Father’s day lunch along the way.
Competitive Dad
If your Dad always just has to make it a competition, challenge him to a round of golf at Olympic View Golf Club—an 18 hole championship (yes we said championship) golf course just 20 minutes from downtown Victoria. You might finish with a higher score than him!….Oh wait…
Outdoorsy Dad
Is he a big time brand evangelist for The Great Outdoors? Take him exploring around the Wild West Coast by kayak. Ocean River Sports offers tours around Victoria Harbour, Elk Lake, Oak Bay and more! If he’d rather do a DIH (Do It Himself) tour they also offer day time rentals. Just make sure he knows where he’s going —even if your he does claim to “know this place like the back of his hand.”
Chill Dad
Maybe Dad is all of the above and just needs to chill-out and watch the world go by, or at least the seaplanes, harbour ferrys & kayaks. Get Dad an Inn at Laurel Point gift certificate so he can book a room, when the time is right, and unwind on his outer harbor patio, stretch out on the bed & watch the game, or just “rest his eyes” – the great news is, pants are optional!
Foodie Dad
Ahhh a Dad who appreciate the finer things in life. Treat him to deep fried sushi at our own AURA Restaurant. Or maybe beef strop loin with charred leek mashed potatoes? Fresh B.C. Oysters? Okay, now we’re getting hungry… Just make sure he doesn’t skip dessert!

Of course he’s the best! So gather all his favourite people, and treat him to Father’s Day Brunch Buffet with beer! This Sunday, our friends from Driftwood Brewery will pour samples on our patio + we’ll have their refreshing beers on tap and in bottle. Dad will love the barbecued pork loin with Korean style chili sauce and grilled salmon with minted couscous – especially since he didn’t have to stand over the hot grill!
